Hi! I'm Nina.

I'm a multidisciplinary designer who's passionate about scalable design.

What is scalable design?

Versatile & easy

The design solution can be used in many applications; it establishes a visual system that makes it possible to create branded, consistent messaging with ease.

Feasible to manage

Scalable design not only inspires action; it also feels attainable enough to be turned into a reality. It can be feasibly adopted, managed, and proudly owned by the party it serves.

Agile & flexible

The solution can integrate with new features and can be iterated upon to evolve and adapt as a business concept grows. Updates shouldn't feel like reinventing the wheel every time; it should feel like expansion. Agile is the name of the game!

Meets future demands

While it should be agile for iteration, a scalable design solution should also have an element of timelessness. Technology is always changing, but the design should withstand fleeting trends and offer the most bang for buck without constant refactoring.

I do UX/UI design in the ecommerce space.

I'm currently at eHouse as a UX/UI Designer on the Digital Infrastructure team. Take a peek at some of the things that I do over there.

I also do strategic design work for creatives.

Here's a sampling I've done with some brilliant folks here in San Diego.
